Space Suit Upgrader
Upgrades people, upgrades!
Description
The Space Suit Upgrader allows you to add different upgrades to your space suit. There are 3 types of space suit upgrades: cold resistance, heat resistance, and radiation resistance. These are separate items you craft and use this machine to add to your space suit. See Space Suits for more information regarding upgrades.
This machine is crafted in an Enhanced Crafting Table.
Recipe
x1 Hardened Glass
x6 Aluminum Composite
x1 Steel Ingot
Information
This machine runs on electricity, and it uses 200 J/s. To use it, you'll add your space suit in one of the left UI slots, and your upgrades in the other left UI slot.
The machine will then add that specific upgrade to the specific space suit piece you input. See Space Suits for more information regarding upgrades.
Oxygen Filler
Can't have a proper planetary base without being able to breath.
Description
The Oxygen Filler is very simple. It allows you to add oxygen to your space suit chestplate.
This machine is crafted in an Enhanced Crafting Table.
Recipe
x1 Fan Blade
x6 Aluminum Composite
Information
The Oxygen Filler runs on electricity and uses 100 J/s. To use it, place your space suit chestplate in one of the left UI slots. It will take 30 real life minutes to fill your chestplate from 0% to 100%. There are no upgrades or items to make this process faster, however, you can build multiple space suit chestplates and rotate between them. Use one while the other charges, then swap them out.
Unlike the Oxygen Sealer, you do not need Oxygen Canisters to fill your chestplate. The Oxygen Filler will oxygen from the air around it and fill up the chestplate.
Circuit Press
Description
Circuits are a common component that is used to craft various machines other items in Galactifun such as rockets. The circuit press can produce glowstone, lapis, diamond, and redstone circuits.
This machine is crafted in an Enhanced Crafting Table.
Recipe
x2 Piston
x2 Aluminum Composite Sheet
x4 Heating Coil
Information
The Circuit Press runs on electricity and uses 256 J/s. To use it, enter both circuit ingredients in the left UI slots(highlighted in red below).
The machine will then craft circuits. Circuits are comprised of silicon and the respective item block(redstone block, glowstone, diamond block, lapis block).
Assembly Table
It's like a Crafting Table, but lorge.
Description
The Assembly Table is similar to a crafting table, except the crafting grid is 6x6. It is used to craft many items in Galacticraft such as rockets and rocket components.
This machine is crafted in an Enhanced Crafting Table.
Recipe
x2 Steel plate
x2 Cargo motor
x1 Advanced processing unit
x1 Enhanced Auto-Crafter
Information
The assembly table runs on electricity and uses 2048 J/craft. The UI is similar to a crafting table except it allows for 6x6 crafting.
Oxygen Sealer
If you want to breath in a planetary base without a suit, you'll need this.
Description
The oxygen sealer will fill a sealed area with oxygen. This is needed on planets without a breathable atmosphere such as the Moon and Mars. Using the oxygen sealer will allow you to create a space where you can survive without a spacesuit. Unlike other similar machines, the Oxygen Sealer only has one tier.
This machine is crafted in an Enhanced Crafting Table.
Recipe
x1 Reinforced Channel
x1 Oxygen Regenerator
x6 Aluminum Composite
Information
The Oxygen Sealer works by taking Oxygen Canisters from its inventory and distributing them to the air around it. The Oxygen Sealer has a range of 1000 volumetric blocks meaning it can seal a 10x10x10 area, or any variation as long as it's below 1000 blocks. This machine requires a constant source of electricity to stay functioning, although it is not super power hungry.
The Oxygen Sealer requires a sealed area to function.
The Oxygen Sealer has a small name tag above it which identifies its current status. The following are the status meanings:
Operational: Oxygen Sealer is working. It has power, oxygen canisters, and a sealed area.
Not Enough Power: Oxygen Sealer does not have enough power to be operational.
Area Not Sealed or Too Big: You do not have a fully sealed area with supported blocks, or the space totals more than 1000 volumetric blocks.
Space Heater
Mmmmm... Toasty.
Description
Similar to the Oxygen Sealer, the Space Heater is a machine that allows you to live in a sealed space with no space suit without dying. On cold planets, such as the Moon and Mars, you will freeze to death without cold resistance - even if you have oxygen. There are 3 tiers of Space Heaters each providing more protection from the cold.
This machine is crafted in an Enhanced Crafting Table.
Recipe
Space Heater I
x4 Aluminum Composite Sheet
x1 Fan Blade
Space Heater II
x4 Space grade plate
x1 Lava bucket
x2 Ventstone
x1 Space Heater I
Space Heater III
x3 Volcanic ingot
x1 Blistering volcanic ingot
x1 Space heater II
Information
The tier II and III space heaters are difficult to build since they require end game materials from distant planets, however, they work extremely well. They suck a lot of power but they offer great protection and range. The tier I space heater will suffice for the Moon, but for Mars or anything further you need a tier II or III.
All space heaters required a sealed space to function.
Power
- Space Heater I - 512 J/s
- Space Heater II - 1024 J/s
- Space Heater III - 2048 J/s
Range
- Space Heater I - 1000 blocks (volume)
- Space Heater II - 1500 blocks (volume)
- Space Heater III - 2000 blocks (volume)
Protection Level
- Space Heater I - 2 levels of cold resistance
- Space Heater II - 4 levels of cold resistance
- Space Heater III - 6 levels of cold resistance
